Downtown Landmarks

Explore Buffalo's greatest landmarks. Sites by Louis Sullivan, Richard Upjohn, E.B. Green, A.J. Warner, John Wade, Minoru Yamasaki & more. Tours begin Sat., May 4th and run through Sat., September 28th.

Sat. 10 am, 1.5 hours, $5

Theater District

Styles from classic to post-modern throughout the theater district and the north end of downtown. In conjunction with Curtain Up! in September. Details to be forthcoming, watch the newsletter and website, or call later in the summer.

Buffalo City Hall

RoamBuffalo is proud to present a unique 'insiders' view of one of our most treasured landmarks - the soaring, art deco City Hall. In our commitment to preserve, protect and promote our city's extraordinary architecture, we offer this intriguing educational tour free of charge to school groups from grades 2 through 12. We also offer the tour to adult groups of 6 or more for $5 per person.

Trolley and Bus Tours

City Landmarks & Pan-Am Site

Uniquely commemorates the 1901 Pan American Exposition and the Golden Age of Buffalo. View downtown landmarks, historic residential areas, Hoyt Lake and Olmsted's Delaware Park, the Museum District and Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin Martin site, along with the Pan-Am site. Tours begin Sat., May 4th and run through Sat., September 28th.

City of Light

Enter the exciting world of Louisa Barrett-Headmistress of the Macaulay School for girls, electricity, the Pan-Am Expo and Buffalo's wealth and fame as portrayed by Lauren Belfer in her novel "City of Light". Tours begin Sat. May 11th and run through Sat. September 28th.

Sat. 10 am, 2-2.5 hours, $20

Holy Buffalo - Churches of the Queen City
A new tour for 2002!

Buffalo's church architecture rivals that of Europe and reflects the devotion of the Catholic and Protestant groups that settled in Buffalo in the 19th century. This tour visits some of the most significant structures and explores their cultural and historical origins.

Special 'Friends' members preview on Sat., May 4th

Tours begin Sat., May 11th and run every second Saturday through Sat., August 31st.
