Over 100 years ago, the women of this community recognized that the harsh environment of a general hospital was no place for a child. Their vision of a SPECIAL PLACE where mothers and their children could be cared for in an environment designed to meet their UNIQUE NEEDS led to the formation of Children's Hospital.

The need for a special place for mothers and their children is just as necessary today as it was then.

We are dedicated to preserving this VITAL INSTITUTION for future generations. We believe CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL must remain an independent, free-standing, full-service institution. Children's Hospital must not be closed, moved or downsized.
We believe Children's Hospital is VITAL to the health care of children throughout Western New York and must remain the regional center of EXCELLENCE that it is.
